Enter the Mandala Story

Once upon a present moment...

Two powers are vying for control of the Earth. The Organization aims to unify humanity via a global geo-political system into a New World Order of peace and prosperity. The Movement seeks to catalyze a revolution in consciousness and help humanity make an evolutionary leap. Both sides have a vision of the Singularity. Both sides are working for Utopia. But the difference of these approaches causes conflict. The lines have been drawn.

Join the forces of Light (represented by white on the game board) or the forces of Shadow (represented by black) in a multi-dimensional battle for Earth.

This is not your usual “good versus evil” story, however. Neither side is fundamentally good or evil. Just different. As players venture deeper into the story, they discover that reality isn’t as black and white as it may have seemed. Shadow Walkers belong to the hierarchical structure of the global secret government. They have advanced technologies at their disposal, including the most recent and futuristic weapons that DARPA has yet to release. Some characters are trained in the occult arts. All of them are physically augmented. As they work their way up the ranks, Shadow Walkers proceed through a series of initiations. With new levels of knowledge come new abilities and skills. The ultimate goal is to enter the inner circle of the Shadow Council itself. Light Walkers belong to the rebel movement trying to take down the New World Order. They are loosely organized around a group of Elders, wise leaders with ancient teachings from indigenous traditions around the world. The Elders have access to higher spiritual dimensions (e.g., the Empyrean, the Veil); they can also call on otherworldly guardians and gods for protection. Light Walkers use magic and spiritual powers in battle.

Planet Earth is the battleground. The entire world. Sacred sites and major population centers are hubs of the GRID, but the magnetic field of the Earth (consisting of longitudinal and latitudinal ley lines) forms the playing field. It’s all about energy. To be specific, the energy of the Earth. The forces of Shadow are building a control GRID on top of the Earth’s magnetic field, extracting resources and advancing technologies to construct a peaceful, unified world. The forces of Light perceive this to be a threat to Mother Earth (Gaia). They don’t want a control GRID. Furthermore, they believe that the unification of humankind will happen via a spiritual awakening. Places are aligned at any given time with one of the two sides. Whichever side controls the GRID controls the world.
